WHAT YOU'll BE IN CHARGE OF


Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to join our team and will lead large scale, complex program delivery for various distributed multi-technology platform initiatives. Our platform is central to an eMobility ecosystem that consists of massive worldwide cloud infrastructure, Electric Vehicle Chargers (L2 and DCFC), Battery Energy Storage systems, integration with Energy Utilities, Renewable Energy, and the hardware/software to facilitate administration, predictive management, and communication between sites and facilities. We are looking for someone who is excited about being a key contributor on a team that is evolving a mature platform central to an ecosystem that is used by millions of people worldwide.



THIS IS HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Your core accountabilities are to...

  • Lead large scale, complex and global initiatives, acting as the single point of contact for global delivery
  • External customer and internal stakeholder management, collaborating across organizations, departments and teams
  • Broker technical requirements to software developers and quality assurance engineers
  • Work with and communicate across global cross-functional teams to manage programs, define milestones, dependencies and success criteria, and allocate resources
  • Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to define and refine requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering to deliver advanced software solutions aligned to the organizational product roadmap
  • Responsible for all aspects of agile program and project management for the initiative including management of schedules and project plans, documentation preparation (i.e., compiling meeting minutes, establishing Confluence Space for teams, establishing regular cadence for the team, facilitating the solution overview process), gap analysis and customer interaction
  • Organize and run various agile ceremonies to support agile program execution and delivery, engaging teams from Product Management and Software Engineering
  • Engage in project estimations and reporting on project performance, budget, and delivery. Facilitate collaboration on a daily basis to remove impediments and reduce risk
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve unit economics and effectively manage costs
  • As an individual contributor, provide program management leadership, guidance, and day-to-day execution support for other Program Managers leading technology projects, ensuring technology initiatives are executed on-time, on-scope, and with expected quality
  • Facilitate meetings and communication between product owner stakeholders and development team members to ensure the highest value work is top priority in the backlog
  • Create, manage and publish team metrics and reporting from Jira
  • Mentor and coach junior resources in Technology Program Management to build department capability
  • Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team and act as the “go to” program manager for program delivery mechanics, tools and processes



Job requirements

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Has experience of…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of experience in agile program/project management of deliverables hosted on AWS or other cloud services at scale
  • 7+ years using communication tools such as JIRA, Slack, Confluence, and project schedule management tools such as SmartSheet to expertly plan development sprints
  • 5 + years of Experience with SAAS product and software development concepts and methodologies
  • 10+ years of experience on teams that have successfully delivered large-scale, secure, and resilient cloud services, preferably as part of a successful platform migration and/or v1.0 initiative
  • 10+ years of experience program or project managing cloud services products and driving and managing the technical dependencies critical to their delivery


Preferred Qualifications...

  • Hands-on work experience, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a shifting landscape.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong Agile development skills that have served as the pillar for a history of successful project delivery. Experience and/or certification with SAFe is a plus.
  • Solid understanding (after onboarding and ramp-up/training) of the Shell Recharge Solutions software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve problems and think outside of the box.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent experience required.
